I don't know if I like the idea of one of my surfaces facing down seems like it would pick up more debris or fingerprints or get slick faster laying it down on your lap.

The Roberts side is recessed son it's not flush on the bottom.

Blodgett double trouble has killed more birds for me than anything...of course I run it most days...slate over glass though I almost never run the glass.
