I'm still very new and still suck at turkey hunting. I want to be wearing camo to my eyelids if it's gonna help me at all.

lmbunch69, gloves or camo are only tools. Every good craftsman learns his tools. The biggest flaw in new turkey hunters is FEAR. Fear of doing something wrong will derail you more than any tool or gimmick will  help. Be bold and don't be afraid to try new things. Mistakes are the best teachers. Especially don't be afraid to move on birds, plopping your butt down like a new stone in the woods and never moving is not a top strategy. Learning when to be that rock is.

Little trick I learned in the Army for the face paint. Not sure if any of you have used the good old loam and od green military issue sticks before but they suck to put on and get off.  But if you put some of the liquid bug juice that you wipe on or even OFF brand and spray it on your hands and immediately apply the camo before it dries the camo  comes off super easy just using baby wipes. The deet makes it softer.

Luckily I am not allergic to poison oak/sumac or ivy.

I prefer to wear a mask and gloves, but movement is usually what gets a hunter busted.
