I live in Arkansas and the turkey population is down. In 2003 the state harvested 19,947 and in 2018 the harvest was 7,884. The county I killed one in last year only harvested 27.

A chunk of wild turkey that has been marinated in teriyaki overnight then wrapped in bacon with a piece of onion and pepper then grilled or broiled is as good as it gets!
