Title: Bama members
Post by: CASH on February 04, 2012, 08:20:34 AM
This site has always been Bama heavy on members.  I've seen a lot of new ones in the past few weeks.  Please chime in with what county or city you're from.

Oh, and it is mandatory that you PM the GPS coordinates of your turkey land to me.  :toothy9:

Elmore County here. I hunt Autuaga, Coosa, Chilton, Perry, Lowndes, and Marengo counties.

Although I hunt numerous states...one of my most favorite public WMA's with little to near non existant pressure with a minimum of four gobblers heard from the roost on any given morning is in one of my Alabama favorites.

I can't believe you looked. :TooFunny: :TooFunny:

Reminded me of someone stopping when I use to hunt a lot of public land and ask if I heard any birds gobbling(yea right).I do admit to one of my old tricks was using what we refer to as a "drop bag".save your turkey feathers from previous seasons and drop some feathers at each parking spot in your local woods..it is very discouraging to pull up to scout or hunt and see a pile of feathers. ;)

Live in Wetumpka (Elmore County). I hunt Elmore, Montgomery, Macon, Henry, Dale, Autauga, Barbour, Clay,  lowndes.  There are a few more but I did not hunt them last year. No turkeys in Alabama so you have to.cover a lot of ground. Oh yeah I remenered another 2 I hunted last year. Pike and Bullock. Set a schedule and just make a rotation to a different piece of land each day. All private or leased land
