So I suppose the NWTF should stop those fundraising banquets as well?Eating a food only effects the person eating it and that is their choice, tobacco causes problems to those that do not choose to use it as well, there is not real comparison.I think the chemicals, hormones and steroids are causing much of the obesity myself. Years ago we did not have that crap in our foods and we did not have the problems.Obviously you have never seen an overweight woman so in love with her whopper that she hit someone in a parking lot. I have. Its ridiculous though. There are enough rules,if someone wants to smoke then let them smoke. Plenty of places they can do that without affecting others.. If someone wants to be a LA then let them be an LA. I just don't want to pay for either ones health insurance which all to often I am thanks to being someone that works and pays taxes.Sent from my SM-G960U using TapatalkNot sure what you mean by "LA"? I do agree we really do not need a bunch more rules, never intended to imply that, I simply do no think it is a good way to raise funds and think it could be done in better ways, and has been in the past.As far as the cancer comments go I recently lost somebody I cared for deeply to cancer, though not smoking related so I guess I was venting a little and perhaps in the wrong way though I do not feel selling tobacco is ever a good idea. I do support the individuals right to choose it so long as I do not have to smell it or have my health effected by it.Bill Clinton , like his cigars ... LA .. is Lard Butt but it has L A - S

Quote from: Happy on August 10, 2020, 04:38:12 PMThanks for the explanation Greg. A lot of things aren't healthy in the long run for us but its not easy to sell water and meat as a fundraiser. I get you point Sir Die and respect your opinion. Macdonald has a lot of blood on their hands though if we were actually crazy enough to believe they are responsible for other peoples bad decisions. Quote from: Sixes on August 06, 2020, 09:36:24 AMHere is where I differ than most, I am an ex smoker and I have never judged nor given an opinion to anyone that still smokes. And that include cigarettes, cigars or weed.#1. It is none of my business#2. It is not my money nor my concern what an adult doesAs far as NWTF selling cigars, It doesn't bother me at all, once again, who am I to judge another man or worry about how he spends HIS money#1 and #2 is a pretty accurate concept.
Quote from: GobbleNut on August 10, 2020, 11:09:29 PMI hope they sell the sh*t out of those cigars to turkey hunters! That just means there will be a lot fewer of them that will be able to get to some of the places I go to kill a gobbler! Cigar-smoke lungs and 9,000 to 10,000 ft. elevation turkeys don't go together too well! Light 'em up, boys!
