Not just Black Friday but they are Holiday sales from Maven Optics.

https://mavenbuilt.com/journal/holiday-specials/

Maven binoculars are some of the best on the market. I have used mine for 3 years now and they are a really overlooked high quality brand.

Thanks for the link, I may pick up myself a small set of binoculars

I'm about to order my first pair of Mavens. Before this all I have had were sub $100 binos bought from various places to keep in the truck. These will be c1's used for turkey hunting mainly and will be 12x42 I believe. Any advice you can give before I pull the trigger?

I would agree with that for sure
This may be of help when choosing a pair, asked when I was hoping to get a pair this past year but did not work out.

I think 12s would be very difficult for turkeys, that much power would be more for long range spotting and glassing.

If you are strictly buying for turkey, I would lean to the 7x28 or 8x42.

I have the B2 9x45s but they are used only for deer.

Mine are vortex 10 x 28 .. really like these ...

I have the vortex diamondback 10×42. I use them for both deer and turks and love them. Can't go wrong with their warranty either.

I guess I am one of the few that does not care for Vortex.  I had their 8x28s and gave them to a friend of mines son.

I have never had their bigger sets, so I don't have an opinion on them.

The more I think about it the more I'm leaning away from the 12x. I do think it will be 10x though. Thanks for the input, it helps me think things through.

I agree. I rather have something where do you don't have to use the great warranty but they are good for what they are. I also wouldn't go over 8's for turkeys unless your hunting big fields or out west.  I would love to have some mavens or Swaros!
