Quote from: Mossyguy on April 18, 2019, 09:26:33 PMJoined the Army in 1995 and spent almost 22 years in the infantry. Got injured in Afghanistan and was eventually medically discharged because of it. At first I was pretty upset because I wanted to keep doing my job. But within the last 4 years it had become one big experiment. Everyday I came to work finding out something new the powers that be wanted to try. Everyday I heard, " You can't do this" or "You can't say that". It became so political and the hands of those that actually had common sense were so tied it was unbelievable. So my retirement was a blessing in disguise. I feel for those that had to deal with all the nonsense but hopefully things are getting back on track. War is not for the faint of heart. You can't have someone with an identity crisis next to you with a weapon and have the utmost trust in them to have your back. If you're wanting to join the military for equality then I suggest finding other means of employment.
