Good Turkey Reaping Decoy.

I have never done it but thought it might be fun to try.  What would be a good decoy to get?

Just a tail fan works. Birds don't know the difference. I never saw a need to use a decoy. Plus it's already risky to crawl behind a fan, no sense in making it look even more like a turkey.

The only place I figured I would try it would be a private property that is locked down pretty tight by the owner. He allows one person other then my self and my boys and make certain we are not both in there at the same time.

The new Montana Wiley Tom is the best one I've seen. It folds up fairly compact so it's easy to carry in your vest, but still looks very real and gives you some cover.

we cant do it here in pa  But I think it would be cool to do before season just to see how birds react to it lol  Got me one of them tominators  for clearance at walmart last summer 15.00  LOL    would still be a better rush then sitting in a blind with a field full of decoys

That's cool, but how close do you have to get before the turkeys see the Gobbler and does the orange background spook them?
