FC opens the 25th and I'll be at Walt Disney World for the week. Won't be until the 2nd before I get out. I'm seeing large flocks of hens and gobblers together.

I am ready!! Went out this morning to one of our spots and didn't hear anything. I think they are still on the adjoining farm. Hopefully they will start breaking up into smaller flocks in next few weeks.

I walked up on some gobblers while shed hunting the other day. Most of em flew the creek but one stood there about 20 yards away just lookin at me while i walked toward him and then he flew across. Dumb birds... can't wait to get one fired up this spring

22 days!! I'm going crazy here!! I'm seriously ready to shoot one in the face!! I got my 20ga. getting dipped right now and getting my new Baretta set up with a scope!! Season can't get here fast enough!!

Just got a Pro diamond scope on my 835 along with the aerolite Limbsaver kick pad. My God'a grip shotgun wedge just came in the mail today. Waiting on my tactical safety to arrive so I can install everything and give my gun a good deep clean so I can get it patterned. Can't wait to try it!

Where are you getting your gun dipped? I just bought a 20g youth 870 ( black synthetic) I want to get it dipped.

I'm getting it dipped at a place in Manchester. It's called Gunsmith's. he's a little higher than others because he uses Cerakote as his clear coat. He's got the licensed patterns, but I went with one called shadow bark to save abut $50 and get it a little quicker. That pattern looks a lot like Bottomland! The number for the business is 931-450-2117
