Quote from: Hersh on February 05, 2017, 02:55:58 PMI would love to have a booth there. But unfortunately it feels like they've priced a lot of us smaller call maker guys out of the market. By the time you rent space get vendors license and pay for hotel. It's kinda tough to make any money. Some guys do have booths there by splitting up the cost between several call makers . One of the best ways to get your hands on some great custom calls is to buy them at the silent auction tables. Or go to the live auction on Saturday morning.
Quote from: greencop01 on February 05, 2017, 05:14:52 PM I know when I have the money and get retired I'm going to UNICOI, nine hundred miles from my home. They have more call makers there than the NWTF Convention ever had. All there at one place, and you can talk to 'em and learn from 'em. I will go to UNICOI before I ever go the convention.
Quote from: West Augusta on February 05, 2017, 06:26:28 PMThe NWTF severely frowns upon non vendors selling calls. Many still do. I'm only a striker maker but I'll be there but won't have any to sell. Just bringing a few ordered strikers. This is why somebody should organize a swapmeet at a local bar the Sat night of Nashville show,,so small makers and guys can bring their calls to sell and trade. We do this at all the Midwest Muskie shows with lures and tackle and socialise and it's a huge turnout.
