Any of you custom call makers going to be at the NWTF Convention and have a booth?

Hersh

I would love to have a booth there. But unfortunately it feels like they've priced a lot of us smaller call maker guys out of the market. By the time you rent space get vendors license and pay for hotel. It's kinda tough to make any money.  Some guys do have booths there by splitting up the cost between several call makers . One of the best ways to get your hands on some great custom calls is to buy them at the silent auction tables. Or go to the live auction on Saturday morning.

Do any of the well known call makers sell calls at the convention even though they don't have a booth?

SS Calls

SS Custom Calls will be in booth #6 with IHW Calls.

True, some deals can be had at the silent auction and live auction, but there will be lots of other fine calls available that won't be in those auctions. Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Houndstooth Game Calls

:camohat: I know when I have the money and get retired I'm going to UNICOI, nine hundred miles from my home. They have more call makers there than the NWTF Convention ever had. All there at one place, and you can talk to 'em and learn from 'em. I will go to UNICOI before I ever go the convention.
We wait all year, why not enjoy the longbeard coming in hunting for a hen, let 'em' in close !!!

The NWTF severely frowns upon non vendors selling calls.  Many still do.
I'm only a striker maker but I'll be there but won't have any to sell.  Just bringing a few ordered strikers.

Yes,  Unicoi is better.
No trees were hurt in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were highly inconvenienced.

Good choice!!

The Tn. Tax Comm. has people walking the floor looking for people selling w/out a tax lic. You can pay a big fine if you're caught, seller beware.

jhall if you go into nwtf website or Google nwtf convention there is a link to the exhibitors ,,,a map will be shown listing where the booths are and the names of them.
A handy game plan if you want to get to one fast before they sell something out.

This is why somebody should organize a swapmeet at a local bar the Sat night of Nashville show,,so small makers and guys can bring their calls to sell and trade. We do this at all the Midwest Muskie shows with lures and tackle and socialise and it's a huge turnout.
