Enjoy the new rod!

This is the hardest fighting fish in the water -  had one snap a 10wt.

Amber Jack???

Catching jacks is pure work sometimes.  I enjoyed catching smaller jack crevalle on light gear.  Pound for pound there is not a tougher fish to get in the boat as far as fighting.
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

I got the Sage SP used early in my fly fishing career (paid $75 for it)...  I probably would not opt for it again, but will keep it as a spare when I do get a new rod.  It is possible I might be able to get a screaming deal on the Helios this year, and if I do, I will jump on it...

Yes - Amberjack, AJ, or "Reef Donkey".  I threw a fly the size of a brook trout and he sipped it off the surface down in Charleston, SC.

@Marc - yes they are work.  I prefer the 15lbers for fun.
