Do you recommend the 3 or 8moa dot on FFlll?

Also, if you ever wanted to put the sight on another gun that may require more precision the small dot would be better.  Not to throw a wrench in the works but have you looked at the vortex.  The vortex shares the same footprint as the burris but has several more light intensity settings.  The one thing that I dont care for on the burris that it only has 3 settings and dont always fit differing lighting situations well.  Good luck

The previous poster mentioned Vortex.  I have a Vortex Sparc II, and highly recommend.  It has a 2 MOA dot and I wouldn't want bigger than that.  Close in, say 20 yds or less I can get really accurate, which aids for tight shooting choke/loads.  The sparc has 10 levels of brightness.  If you want to see proof why it's probably the toughest red dot out there, check out this : http://www.recoilweb.com/vortex-sparc-ii-the-dot-that-would-not-die-67267.html

I have the 8....had the 4 in the II, and just didn't want it to be any smaller...

The 8 is very good for me in low light, much better than the 4 was...

The 8 is a tad big, especially at full power, but I still prefer it over the 3....

More of my shots are in low light, so I would buy the 8 again...especially given that the brightness is adjustable...

The auto brightness setting takes care of pretty much everything and the other great qualities of this reflex sight make it one of the best, in my opinion. Light weight. Unobtrusive. Durable. And the warranty...Great addition to any turkey gun!

Warne makes a nice small mount for the SBE II. You'll need to drill and tap one hole. Those receivers can be REALLY hard, depending on when it was made (early ones harder) so a good smith is in order...The Burris 336 mount is the lowest you'll find but it's quite a bit longer. You can raise the comb by getting the medium height riser from Benelli. They're pricey but make a nice installation.

According to the Vortex website their Venom sight is compatible with the Burris Speed Bead, that plus an unconditional warranty makes them a pretty attractive option.

That was quite a test, thanks for the link.  I don't really intend to do any of those things to my sight so I guess it should last me forever.
