Wife & I were married on the first day of turkey season 16 years ago this April 29th here in Pa.
This means at least if I dont get lucky turkey hunting at least I know that I will be lucky in another way.

I gave up shooting a snow goose this morning for sex, my girlfriend told me last night she wanted me to sleep in for once.  15 minutes later I pull out of our lane and  a flock of snows are landing on some public ground a half mile away.  Tell my buddy we will get them in the evening cuz I am having breakfast with my girl.  8 am I hear shots and someone else got to them, no action on both fronts-shoulda went hunting

My wife and I got married on opening day of turkey season 4 years ago.  I hunted then got hitched.  Now I have her inot hunting.  I get to have my cake and eat it too.  We both wake up to go hunting.  And maybe the other before........

Well,.......................this morning I stayed at home.

I simply couldn't chase gobblers with a good hen on my mind.

Take your wife and do both. What do you pop-up blinds are for.  It sure beats just settin there waiting on a bird to gobble. Might as well pass the time.

i've always said that hunting comes first but there's room for compromise in every relationship.
