I have the 3" Vinci with 24" barrel.  I use a .665 Indian Creek with LB #5's.  I consistently get in the 170's in a 10" circle at a lasered 40 yards.  I am not talking about doing this just one time, I have shot this combo a number of times and am amazed at how consistent it is.  I also have a FF3 on mine.
Awesome! A 24" barrel version is on my "must have" short list!

3" is plenty of turkey gun.  It's a good gun and obviously fits you well so I say go for it. :z-twocents:
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Well I haven't heard one peep out of him since He started this post!

Maybe He wants some neg reasons not to pull the trigger.

1. You can kill a turkey with a single barrel gun for $75- $100

2. The Vinci is a good chunk of change for most of us.

3. Dead is Dead, no matter what the cost of gun is.

4. You can buy different thickness of rubber recoil pads to make that single shot fit  you just right.

5. If you buy a single shot gun old enought, that the barrel is not rated for steel. Then you can save on ammo cause an old single shot gun can't use the HTL stuff.

6. Most single shots don't use choke tubes and you will save by not needing a Rhino.

If neededcI can come up with other reasons not to buy.

I agree with your opinion in that it is awkwardly ugly. Almost so ugly it looks good. If it wasn't so dang expensive I'd have to go look at one. Oh, and while plastics/polymers have proven their strength in the firearm industry there is such a thing as too much one thing. Good luck to the OP, I'm one of those that primarily hunt with a single shot although it has been modified.

If it fits u, I would go for it..... Don't just buy a gun for the name..... Go for the feel! I shoot a VMax, it's heavy, bulky, but!!!!! It fits me and I know how to work on it if something goes wrong

I think they look great myself, nice to see something different rather than the same ole same ole generic look that's been around since the late 50's. Yea, the looks are not for every one's taste but the beauty is in its design and handling.
