Quote from: double drops on February 17, 2014, 10:13:51 PMI'm going to give the Win Longbeard XR's a shot. From the looks of the patterns, do you guys think a .660 would be too tight if I'm shooting 5's?
Quote from: sbraham on February 18, 2014, 09:10:54 AMI shoot an 870 with .665 kick's. I shoot #5 lead. Winchester and federal lead turkey loads do very well and have killed birds at 50 yards and have full confidence in the set up. I do have longbeard #5s and the result is incredible. Used a range finder to shoot them at 40 yards.

Quote from: sbraham on February 18, 2014, 10:08:41 AMI would try the longbeards thru the .660. You may be well satisfied. I had already been using my .665 and thats what i used for my patterning shot and performed well. Never know what any round will do until you try it
