Hey guys... So I've been playing round making some box calls - three to be exact. All about the same dimension, copied from a Lynch. Made out of 1/4 inch oak, side tapered from full thickness to about 1/16th at the top - sounds very nice when stroked from left to right, but for the life of me I can't get ANY of the three to make a decent sound from right to left...
The grain looks the same, the lid (which I shaped) is eyeball symetrical... Any ideas? If I put the lid on the other direction, then they work right to left, and not left to right....
