just to let everyone know, i ended up with this great but i don't know how 'ribbonless' Arkansas Toothpick trumpet call from Pappy, I had to miss the banner pic, but Pappy did call to remind me about it, but I had to tell him I had to miss it, I was trying to buy his trumpet on the silent auction, had to hang in there and fight the crowd bidding for all the trumpets, also bid on a trumpet bu Rev Mike Almond & a couple by Joe Slaton, but Joes were on the other end an I couldn't be 3 places at once, but i stole this trumpet from the table for a mere $80, some folks just don't know quality when they see it, and i got the one from Almond, 2 Almond Jordan style yelpers, a Utke trumpet, and a Don Clark longbox, oh yeh, and i bought a box call from Irving Whitt, what a trip, now if i can just learn to run them, and sent Pappy home with some wood to play with also
