What is your tip percentage?

No comments, if you comment, it will be deleted.

I am asking b/c we are going to Disney and all of our meals will be payed before we go, so we will need to tip.

honker22

People who don't get it, don't get that they don't get it.

If the service is decent, I usually tip 20% to 33%...which in Disney dollars turns out be about $400 per meal.   :D

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

15 to 20 percent

Unless its Christmas time when I try to tip a bit more.

BOFF

20% normally.
30% for outstanding service, the service which always makes the meals/atmospheres better.
10% for the worst, even if I don't think the service deserves anything. I never know what a person may be going through to cause such poor service.

We usually tip 20%, however today my wife and myself ate out and the meal was $23, but our waitress was in her 60's and the sweetest lady you would ever want to meet, she was too old to be waiting tables and she had a real bad limp.  My wife gave her a $5 tip.

I usually double the tax and add some till I get an even number. Who carries a calculator with them to figure out what 20% is?
