Well...it sure is good to be talking turkey with you fellas again. I've tried to peruse around the general forum and can't stomach most of what's being talked about....or b***ched about.

Anyway, my season will be as jam packed as I could make it with 5 tags in three different states and I can't wait for it to kick off!

This thread is a 2-edged sword.

I've been ready for this since I tied my last PA tag on last year. But, our home opener isn't til May 3rd.

But, HOPEFULLY.... I'll be getting an earlier start in Florida North Zone early April....followed by Maryland later in April.

I just simply can't wait to be retired and chase seasons around. I'm not implying you guys are retired, as I can't remember your ages, but I HATE having the long drives home to my turkeyless part of the country. I get caught daydreaming of just being able to move camp when I want, hunt when I want, etc.

Great videos, Trent! I always enjoy your stuff.  I also like your attitude. Like you indicated in your first video, I have always been a one-gobbler-a-day guy, as well. In this day of declining turkey numbers pretty much everywhere, it would be nice if a lot more turkey hunters would adopt that mind-set, but that's just my opinion.

I'm glad you enjoyed them! I can't say I'm God's gift to turkeys by only killing one per day but it was, in fact, killing two in one day that made me realize that wasn't near as fun! One interaction resulting in two dead turkeys resulted in an experience that wasn't as fun for me. But to each their own!
