Just wondering if anyone has tried out the 12 gauge 2 3/4 TSS ....I notice Nitro and Apex both have it as an option

Just bought three boxes so I will let you know soon. Just got them in the mail a couple days ago.  They are 2 3/4" 2 oz #9 12 gauge. Going to run them out of Mossberg 835 with a .675 Indian Creek choke. Also have 4 boxes of the mullet load in 3" 2.25 oz #7.5/9 I am going to try.

I use the 2.75" Apex out of a fixed full Model 12 and it's a hell of a load.

What kind of range do you get with it?

Original post should've read fixed full. But patterned well at 40. Good uniform pattern though a bit wide. Think it's still a 30-35yd setup. But honestly it was a 25-30yd setup with lead so I think it's added ten yards. A lot denser pattern obviously. Be fine at 40 if that's what you had to do just likely get some shot in the breast. 30 and in it'll be a hammer.

I got the Wilson Custom Load 2.75" 2oz #9. You can see a video on how they pattern on YouTube. Look at blue collar outdoors Wilson Custom load

I'm anxious to try it...the 20 gauge loads in a 3 inch are 1 1/2 or 1 5/8 so a 2 oz 12 gauge oughta be plenty good for me ....my current setup is an 870 SP and a Hevi-13 .662 choke .

Foxtrot has a 1 5/8oz and a 2oz 2 3/4" load. I'd really like to try that 1 5/8oz load.

Foxtrot Mini Twisters 1-5/8 ounce of 8.5's out of my Model 12. The 2 ounce were a little to much for the old gun.

I've tried Apex's 2 3/4" 2oz #8's out of a late 70's Winchester model 1200 that has a Rhino .660 in it.  One heck of a load.

shell length isnt really an issue being i trim my 3s dang near to 2.75 anyway. but in my testing my gun didnt fair as well with 2 oz compared to 2.25oz so im sticking with 2.25

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
