Well fellas I was in the thick of them this morning. Had one gobble close and I mean close at around 5:20 in the morning. Gave him some soft stuff until a hen started yelping nearby then the woods lit up! I had 6 different birds going off until you could tell they hit the ground. This joker came in with another bird that had a shorter beard. He was putting on a show until 3 gobblers behind me alarmed them and he broke strut. I was done by 6:09 in the morning. My biggest spurs to date. He wasnt the heaviest but he had some nice hooks!

That’s a dandy. Congrats. Quality bird. Sounds like there might be another bird in those woods for you. Don’t think you get a better scoring one, but go get one!

Congrats on a great bird... check Your scoring I’m sure it’s an honest mistake.  I don’t think you meant 1 7/8” spur.
