I got a Gary Anderson one piece dymondwood with a call I picked up from a member here and I really like it...runs good on a variety of surfaces.

Indeed. Mr. Anderson makes absolutely gorgeous slates. His strikers are all top notch as well

This right here.  I lost the original that came with my pot.  I ordered 2 or 3 more from him years ago.  I can't put my hands on them now.
