Congrats, fellas!  Hopefully more birds will fall.

I took my dad this morning. Called in a nice 2 yr old. He was with two hens but they split so I figured we had a shot.

They have been weird this year. Been a tough year but this team has still put a lot of big birds on the ground.

Just got home from a trip out west. Managed to knock down two more birds but wasn't able to secure an upgrade. Both birds I killed were a little light, one had a good beard and baby spurs and the other had really nice spurs but only a 3.5" beard.  Maybe too little too late anyway. Better luck next year guys. 
Last pic is 2017 beards for my dad, brother, and I... Seems like I might have had some bad luck on when my turn came due because they killed some really high scoring birds.
Overall a good season, my goal was 4 for the year and thats exactly what I got. Puts me at an even 50 overall now.
