Saw about 40 turkeys in 3 different groups this morning on the way home. 4 strutters in the groups. It was foggy though, so I didn't stop for pics.

I've seen several untouchable groups this week in my travels and and been getting the inside scoop on some that i can hunt from some select people.

Ran into a single and a group of 7 longbeards.  Thought it was odd to see the big group still together.  Didn't hear a peep all morning either.

I haven't found the birds yet on the WMA I have a permit for this weekend but still have today and tomorrow to scout and am working up a game plan for the hunt. Chief.

I am so depressed. I have a youth hunt this weekend and have no idea where I am going. pulled the feeders in the pics and like I said the turkeys disappeared too.

Don't stress it they havent went far.  Just start at a good listening spot and when you hear one go to him.  Good luck

I had the land owner of our biggest section of land tell me yesterday that he counted over 100 birds in his front yard.  He ask that we (me and my camera man) thin them out. 

Here's a short version of opening day last year.  My guess is that the flock has more than doubled.
