Best calls in my opinion are the ones you never hunt without. While I hunt with an array of calls, one, if not both of these are with me every time. The past few years I find myself just bringing the long box and 2 trumpets. The short box has some nice mature hen yelps, the kind of "yawk yawk" yelp you look for in a box. The long box call is like no other I own. I can literally get a young hen, mature hen, gobbler yelp and a great jake yelp.

Will what are the wood combo on those two boxes?

The long box is yellow heart over black limba. When I spoke to Marlin prior to buying that long box he mentioned this combo. He said the box sat around for almost 5 years and thought it was ready.

The short box is blood wood over wormy butternut. I gave him the butternut that I had sitting around for years.

Mouth calls: Jeff Frederick Mod v 4 Reed if I need one.
Pot calls:
Mine (something in Cocobola, or hedge, or Jatoba, or...... etc.)
Box: Don't use them much.
Trumpet/Wingbone: don't use much.
