Well I was home for like a day and a half and wound up back in but I have been back for 2 now and man I hope I can stay home, I am sick of that place and a hermit could cook a better meal on the bottom of a old coffee can than that place could cook in an entire cafeteria, I think I kept going back because my guts could not deal with real food and went into shock. This time when I went back in did not eat, just drank ginger-ale.

Been hearing them off and on over the last couple weeks.

Was in a treestand this morning listening to several gobblers on both sides of tbe valley AND what sounded like a group of hen/poults straight up the hill behind me.

I never, EVER tire of that sound !!!!!

Turkey Guns / Need a Remington expert

I picked up an 870 youth magnum model at a gun show to build for next spring. The gun works fine and has shot well thus far, but I looked up the serial number and it has a W suffix which indicates a 16 ga small frame 2 3/4 according to what I read. The barrel is clearly a 20 ga 3 inch. I was unaware they even made a 16 ga Express

Is this safe to shoot? Does this really mean the receiver is different from the barrel?

Any help would be appreciated
