Say you're trying to locate using one. This ain't a do it all the time thing but I bet most at least try. Lots easier to bounce spot to spot w a mouth call than keep fishing a call out though I'll often have a longbox in my hand if that was scenario Another advantage is the sound, cadence, etc are just different. You can run a longbox, scratcher, pot with your hands and mouth call to sound like more than one bird. Bottom line is the more you know the better you'll be #17
