Guys,
The Jakes by Robert Neill has been one of the finest books I have read. Although not specific to turkey hunting, if you are looking for a lighter read that gets your mind going back to your teenage years, then I would give it a shot. The stories reminded me of the mischief, the different personalities, and just plain ol good country livin growing up as a boy in rural Ms, as well as how short life really is and the changes that soon follow one's quick ascent into adulthood.
If you like to read, pick it up....
