I've been checking out this forum for a little bit, been trying  to bag my first turkey for several years now. Well this year I finally got it done and I think I caught the turkey fever! I love the wealth of info here, keep all the good stuff coming!

Welcome to you and congratulations to you. I got my first last year after returning to turkey hunting after 17 years due to an injury, to say it was rewarding is not enough! If all goes right I will be hunting Rio's next spring in your state, a lot of it depends on what all is going on with all this Covid stuff.

I'm also new to the site and from southwest Oklahoma. Congrats on your bird! Always nice to hear of someone else getting hooked on turkeys.

Any advice on how to start an original thread on here? I feel as though it should be straightforward, but I have not figured it out. I haven't seen anything indicating I am able to do so.
