Alternative Turkey Vest

Just wondering if anyone uses, or has considered using, a tactical type vest in lieu of the traditional turkey vest? I have tried several brands of vests through the years and all have their drawbacks. My current one I use the most is an inexpensive Redhead. I like it because it is a strap type, and therefore cooler, but the pockets are low slung, and the one designed for a box call is almost impossible to access because it is so far around to the side.
