When are best turkey clearance sales?

I am uncertain when the best time to buy "next year's gear" is, simply because there is so much variation in when seasons close in different states.

By comparison, most deer seasons end very close, triggering a cascade of good sales sometime between the 2nd or 3rd week of January.
What's generally the "sweet spot" for turkey retail?
