Lunchtime panfish!

I hit a local park at lunch yesterday, it was fast and furious.  Nothing like some bluegill and crappie fillets.

That looks good!  Have you ever smelled something and it bring back memories?  I just saw your photo and instantly could smell a fresh bucket of fish sloshing around in a john boat.  I'm going to have to get the kids rods out and start changing line and get them ready.  Its too bad we don't have panfish here, but they stock a couple ponds here full of little trout that the kids love.  Its also too bad that they don't taste like crappie.
