I received my trumpet from Darrel Gibson last week. Great sounding and looking trumpet. It's made from real Lignum Vitae. Beautiful wood that has a lot of history and is hard to get nowadays from what I've read. I'm not very experienced with trumpets but I think he's on to something with his new design. Great guy to do business with too, the man really knows his stuff with wind operated calls. Imo, one of the best experiences I've had with a callmaker.
