personalized call for my boy

So this is my 10 year old son's first year carrying a gun in the turkey woods. As such, I had a thought: If he gets his first gobbler this season, I'd like to have a personalized call made for him as a surprise (Christmas, Birthday present etc). What I was thinking is a glass call with either a picture of us with his bird, or simply a breast feather from his bird under the glass. I had a call maker in mind, I have a 2 sider made by him that I really like but it seems he's not making calls at this time. So, anyone got any suggestions for who to possibly contact, should the occasion arise? It hasn't happened yet of course, but I've got high hopes. Thank you for any suggestions.

A long time back I was looking to do the same thing for my nephew after he had harvested his first bird. I had Gary Joffrion / Magnolia Game calls build him a pot with his picture in it. He did a stand up job!

I was talking with Jimmy Shaffer about me making a call with a feather from my first turkey and he told me it is better to use one kind of feather over the others because many of them will likely curl up when you put to glue on it. I am sorry but I do not remember what feather he was talking about, I think it may have been one in the tail feather region but of course not the tall ones. Maybe somebody here will know what I am talking about and add that information. Jimmy is a very nice guy, I would get from him again in a second.

Edit: Just heard back from Jimmy, this is what he said. "SECONDARY TAIL FEATHERS 1ST 3 [ROWS] ABOVE THE BUT OF THE TURKEY!"

I have to agree on Jimmy Shaffer from Oak Ridge Calls. My godson surprised me with this beautiful gift that Jimmy made for him to give me. This call is beautiful, I hate to scuff it up. Some day, I will use it on a tough Tom......
