Charlie Parrish Scratch Box

Was fortunate to hunt near Lakeland Florida two weekends ago and had the chance to meet Charlie Parrish and harvest a couple of nice Osceola turkeys.

Charlie is not making calls anymore but he had a small box of scratch boxes I was able to dig thru and play them.

Always wanted a call from Charlie and finally got a chance to get one.

One is all mahogany the other cedar, apple and butternut.

There great sounding calls.

Congrats especially on the 2 birds.  Here's mine from 2010 and it is wormy tiger maple if I remember correctly.

Congrats on a great call from a real southern gentleman! His design is different and very effective. You were fortunate to get a couple calls and enjoy time with a true craftsman and turkey hunter!
