I don't know anything but as its been said before about coyotesthey have also become more widespread around that same time. In my experience there are less people trapping in my area than in the past. And in my own turkey hunting I have noticed coyote stalking my turkey calls . times when I saw a turkey cross the road while I was driving by and a made a move on him coyote would be doing the same. I'm sure there's more than one reason turkeys are in a slow decline. Even on the Edwards plateau the Rio grand population has been in a steady decline

Sorry for butting back in but with all this covid messing with us and mention of west Nile , what about the bird flu , do you remember when that came out ? Or is that the same as west Nile ?
