Turkey Mount Maintenance
« on: March 29, 2020, 08:43:03 PM »
I went through all 5 pages of this section and didn't see a post on mount maintenance. I want to get a bird mounted if/whenever I kill a good one for it. My question is how do you maintain it? I know you gently dust deer mounts but I don't know how you would keep a full strut mounted bird clean without damaging feathers.
Thanks everybody

Feather duster or soft, long-bristle brush (if you can find one) will work.  Always go with the feather flow and not against it.
