Sumtoy in a remington sp10 revised ****
« on: March 22, 2020, 07:01:32 PM »

Okay got home , and properly  measured out the count its actually 240 ! at 40yds. out of my 23inch sp10 , federal 2oz 1300 fps #7 , phenomenal tight pattern, there was a slight side breeze , first and only test shot , I'm sure if I kept on going I could get a higher score

...pick yourself up some fed#7 for CHEAP before it's gone forever

William made some of these many years ago but had lost the data to make one in a hardware crash and was unable to make one ...I sent him my barrel and he redid the program to make some more ....get on this while you can , best shooting 10 ga  choke I've ever seen ,he is a amazing gunsmith and choke builder  ...the choke measures in at .685 with straight lands and wad stops on the internals.

Thanks for looking

looks great! Really trying to resist the temptation of picking up a 24" barrel and hunting the bps again! It has been a fantastic goose getter for me, but starting to get the itch to revisit turkey hunting with it. Thanks for posting this up, looking forward to some more photos!

I thought lead 7s at 1200ft/sec at 40 yards wouldn't break wing/leg bones? I always heard #5s at 1200 was the minimum?

Could've wrong heard it online....I'd use 7s in TSS for sure.

I had William make me a choke just like that for my H&R 10 ga after I got it threaded. My choke is much longer than that though. It started out at .685 but I sent it back to him to bore out to .700. Kills every thing I shoot it at.

Your choke did not go in the barrel as much as Old Gobblers does.
