Hey guys I'm looking for a pair of boots for my girl to wear while turkey hunting with me. She is 9 years old and wears a size 2 or 3 boot. I was hoping to find some Muck boots. There's no dealers. close to me where we could try some on. If any of you have a pair laying around I would be interested. Also interested in camouflage clothes size 10-12. Thanks guys.

Some used kids Muck boots on ebay size 3 for sale , also check thrift store or Goodwill for kids camo , you can usually find some good stuff cheap in the kid sizes.

I've been looking at eBay on and off. I just order her some pants off Ebay. Haven't checked any of the local thrift stores.

I always buy my kid's boots used on ebay.  Message the seller and make an offer, never had one turned down yet.

Will she be walking a lot? If not, i just used the rubber boots at Walmart because my daughter grows out of things so quick. Not Muck boots but work in a pinch.

Possibly. We'll be hunting public but since we'll get the first chance I may try some of the easier access more obvious spots that will get pounded after the season kicks off.

Mucks would be a great choice. Company is out of business now. Some over priced company bought it. Used might be good idea

Thanks guys I found a pair of boots from some friends on Facebook. That will save me from the shipping cost on eBay. She's almost ready!

Come to think of it, i may have a pair or bass pro brand that my boy has outgrown.  He is about to be 11, so they may be big for her.  PM me her size (and so i dont forget) and i can check when i get home.

Sorry, I do not have any...

But having taken both my young daughters several times...  Make sure they are waterproof and insulated...  Both of my children complained of very cold feet.  It was a bit chilly, but not cold...

I finally went to snow-boots for both kids, and take a pair of regular boots for when things warm up.....  Also take warm mittens or gloves for the early morning...  Hand and feet get far colder on little ones than on us fat adults....
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

I took my six year old son out deer hunting last year several times. He killed his first two deer. I tried real hard to make sure it was as easy and comfortable for him as possible. He loved it. This will be my daughters first trip. She hasn't wanted to go but I think I see something changing there. A little glimmer of hope.
