Quote from: JoeA on March 13, 2020, 09:55:29 PMI got my tags from the DLNR office today. I'm going over later in the season than usual. We're hoping the windy weather dies down by then. I've had some good action in the late season before. Fingers crossed. A friend and I got them in case the state (HI) decides to close offices on account of Corona virus. Unfortunately, HI does not allow private vendors to sell tags. Walmarts and other sporting good stores sell licenses, but not the tags. Frustrating.
Quote from: rakkin6 on March 13, 2020, 10:04:32 PMI don't know what to make of this whole Coronavirus stuff. While I agree we need to be a little more cautious completely shutting down life may not be the answer. I hunt on an Army base and I am worried they may limit access to only essential personnel it would more than likely close the season. Even though I am an ID card holder from active duty it doesn't matter. Hopefully common sense prevails. Don't think I am going to catch Coronavirus hunting turkey by myself. Best of luck to you.

Best of luck to you.rakkin, I'm a Veteran as well and live within a mile of a Marine Corps base. As you know well, these bases can be reduced to essential personnel only and that would eliminate most on base privileges. I hope it doesn't come to that. This CV is effecting us ALL in so many ways. Stay flexible and Positive. We will get through this. This too Shall Pass.
