I've got more calls than I need. That n being sick a couple years back slowed me down call buying wise.
For pots I've bought one Lonzo green slate off the classifieds here. I believe last year it was my most successful call and I mighta used it the least.
I just got another from Mark Cornelius. Man thing is a smoker. I'm no green slate expert but it's approaching the top as a fav surface. Got one more from Dustin Jones on order.
I don't know if they're all this good but I like em.

I like my MAC green slate, very easy to play and I like the sound.

Green slate is a great surface! Ads pitch and rasp with great volume.. I like it in Claro Walnut and in Cherry

The only negative about it, seems it needs more conditioning but I def like it

Interesting. I found just the opposite for me. I rarely condition them

Same here, very easy to maintain. I think both green and red are easier to maintain than black.

Glad you said that, thought it was something I was doing wrong with some of my black slate calls.

I wipe mine off after I conditioned it. That kinda defeats purpose but help it seems

The Lonzo I have is way more susceptible it it. The Mac runs longer
