Mash potatoes and meatloaf , is pretty good eating..

captpete

Sounds good!!!  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: Mine is just a touch different....1 cup of instant oatmeal instead of the bread crumbs and double the crushed red pepper.

owlhoot

I don't make meatloaf, looks like a good recipe though.

Venison Queso dip
-blue tortilla chips
-regular tostitos scoop chips

-1 lb ground venison
-3/4 cup beer( I used Budweiser Copper Lager)
-1/2 tsb Red pepper flakes
-salt & pepper to taste
-1/4 cup cilantro
- 1 can Rotel Tomatoes
-1/2 can of diced chili tomatoes( I added this to my own recipe)
-1 can black beans(drained)
-3/4 cup of grated cheese( I used 3 different types, old, marble and pepper jack)
-16 oz velveeta cheese block(original)
-1/2 cup milk 2%

First brown the ground venison, drain and then add beer, salt & pepper and red pepper flakes, simmer until beer is reduced and then add 3/4 cup grated cheese, velveeta cheese and stir until melted then add Rotel tomatoes, diced chili tomatoes, cilantro, black beans and milk.Simmer and serve or let cool and then serve with tostitos, nachos etc.

I am now simmering it on low for 30 minutes and then I am going to let it cool because I like my dip cold but you can serve it warm.

I will post pictures up this evening of the process and outcome.

I have had it simmering on low and it has thickened back up.I am going to continue to simmer it until 755pm(30 minutes) and then I plan on having some of it still hot and I will post pictures of final meal.
