I don't currently use scratch boxes as I have become proficient with mouth calls and, more importantly, because I am saving the few I have for 1 of my grandsons. I am not sure he still makes them by Larry Dablemont in Missouri made some excellent sounded calls but they are fragile. He used to give some away at Southtown Sporting Goods in Joplin, MO (tornado destroyed Southtown) in the early 80s & I took several gobblers with one before the box cracked.
If you are looking for a good scratch box Larry probably still makes a few.
