yes go tho read up for 3.5 surface a good starting point is thickness of glass between sound board and playing surface and go from their little closer higher pitched call little further away from play surface deeper sounding call bottom thickness 1/4 and sides hair under 1/4 then u got the gap around sound board 1/8 what I call tight sounding call little more looses running call pedestal dount get it to round or thick when gluing surfaces get into doing it same every call same amount glue if u give surface 1/4 twist when sitting surface and same weight or clamps personaly I thing its easyer get turkey sound from crystal or glass ,,, like said above good luck u will make some firewood start out cherry walnut maple take measurements and change one thing at time ,,, and when u build a call u think sounds great tear it apart measure every thing and build another lol
