New Dan Wittenberg Longbox

Long awaited arrival showed up last week from Spokane Washington. Eastern Red Cedar over Sitka spruce. Beautiful box and great craftsmanship. Sounds better than it looks and by far exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth the wait. Dan was a great guy to talk to and work with.

Just talked to Dan and he mentioned that he has built enough boxes this winter to fill his list and has some on hand that haven't been spoken for yet. I ordered a Sitka Spruce box to go with the Butternut I bought last year. JRH didn't call it out, but his pic above shows one of the long box holsters Dan includes with each of his calls.

Thanks for posting the info about availability,,,I literally dropped what I was doing and ordered another one a cedar butternut to go with the Sitka spruce I already had,,Dan is mailing it out now.
Guys you have a chance to grab a top choice beautiful instrument without any waiting list and right before the season,,you should jump all over this.
