I know I'm resurrecting a semi old post, but I don't see anything out there about the Carlsons yet.

This is in one of those Turkish import Rock Island 410 pumps they're selling for $200 at Dunhams.  I was going to grab the Stevens right next to it, but I rabbit hunt, have 4 kids and this thing had an adjustable LOP stock so its going to pull double duty.

Does it really weigh 8.8lbs empty?

Jstocks, nope, 7 on the nose.....  I thought it was going to read between 5 and 6 to be honest

Added some buffer to my load, I'd say the Carlsons is a pretty good choke at almost half the price of all the others out there.  Didn't take much, play time's over this guns ready to kill something.   

This is at 40 yards, Gonna need a red dot I'm sure the pattern's tiny at 20

Guy I work with have a Steven 301 with Carlson federal 9 shot. He miss judged distant killed a big Tom 52 steps. He has a Indian Creek choke too.  He said he was going to pattern the IC after season.  He said he was very happy way the Carlson shot.
