Anyone shot the federal tss 9s and tracked the trajectory at various distances?

FPS makes a difference. I have to adjust about 10 clicks up at 75.

KPY Ballistics says 5" of drop at 60 yards (1100FPS) for standard 18g/cc 9s. That is for a 40 yard zero. Start to factor in wind drift which shows 13" of drift in a 20 mph cross wind at 40 with the same muzzle velocity and it's a dangerous game when your shooting that far. I handload my own TSS and I'm still not shooting one past 50 knowingly. Too many factors that can can play against you at that range even though your shooting the good stuff.

I really like your answer. Good common sense thinking.

Are people really taking shots at 75 with tss?  Is it effective?

They only talk about the times it works not the birds they peppered, I mean "missed clean".

I switched to tss so I could down size from a 12 to a 20 and keep the same types of 40yd patterns. I don't shoot any further then I used to with hevishot and a 12 or before the hevi with lead

I was checking, bc when I patterned mine it was just barely low at 20 and higher than the bullseye at 40...so I'm trying to figure out how to sight my red dot.
