For those interested and not already in the know, this Box Elder was gifted to David by Mr. Harold Fowler. It's 20+ year old wood that was kept under the right conditions to hold it's amazing figure as Box Elder typically fades out over time.
Mr. Fowler gave several call makers some of the Box Elder and all have done some sort of limited or special runs of calls, and all that I have played and heard from others are fantastic calls. Truly a special chunk of wood that made it around to several call makers all making a fantastic call.
