This morning finished it for me. 3 birds in the 50's without a big scorer. By next year I definitely need to round up better land in Iowa and Kansas to hunt.

I still have one more hunt out in utah on the 19 to21. Hopefully I get an upgrade.

Well, maybe. I'm now looking at returning to Kansas to hunt the last 3 days of May. We'll see how it goes.

I just returned from Pa. with another Donut. Tough season for me! Today I was sourounded by birds,and couldn't close the deal again. I thought I was gonna be done early. I have a few more days left yo hunt.

My MN archery season opens today but I won't get to go until Monday morning. I'm hunting WI this weekend so I hope to put one down there! I have two weeks to hunt MN with one tag. After that, I'm done hunting for myself then it's time to get Lori her first anything with the bow!  :you_rock:

I want to let the team know. The contest rules state the deadline is the 15th of May. My season will close on the 28th. I will be hunting til then. Hopefully I have a late entry.

They can't close the contest before everyone is done hunting, which is at least till the 31st of May.

Closest I can figure we got at least 10 still hunting, so we still got time to move up with some good kills. Would be nice to be able to bump our 4 in the 50's.

Sure would, but I only have 2 days left.   I am out there, just no more luck yet.  We'll see, weather is supposed to improve.

 We have a Turkey down by mnturkey today, so hopefully it bumps a bird. That makes 13/16 hunters putting down birds this year.   Pretty impressive. :you_rock:
