Here are my turkey duos for 2020 and beyond. Top is a mutt, all assembled from forum. 12 gauge 24in factory threaded boom stick. This is second one I have had, yeah they kick with 3 1/2 loads but with 3 in its tolerable.
Bottom is a custom one that I sent to a semi retired 'gunsmith . Started life as a 25 1/2 20 ga modified shotgun. Sent in and cut to 22 in and threaded for Winny chokes. Forcing cone lengthened and polished barrel. It has H&R scope base with oversized tougher mounting hardware. Currently has a Carlson LB choke and I have a ton of LB 6s and 5s to pattern. I figure both will be a 40 yd shotgun. These things are light and very manageable in the WV mountains. Of course I have my custom 870 20 ga if that's needed but nothing like these. Love the pardners!
